Member opinion: Not quite a museum Waiotapu is situated 20 minutes just south of Rotorua; it is a very colourful natural volcanic reserve. It's unique features including the world famous champagne pool, primrose terraces, geysers, bubbling mud, all sitting on steaming ground. Its a great day out.
