Granada is a city with a history of Moor occupation. This european city is still influenced by Arab connections. People of different ethnic background can be encountered and gives city it's great atmosphere.
Favourite spots:
Alhambra palace is the major attraction in Granada but it's narrow alleys in the centre of town are surely worth a visit. Not to be missed is the Sierra Nevada mountain range that overlooks the city.
What's really great:
The narrow alleys with it's lively people and shops gave me that feeling that I had of this city.
Sights:
Alhambra, The narrow alleys, The old Jewish town and the Sierra Nevada.
Accommodations:
We stayed at Los Lanos camping in Guejar Sierra some 12 K's from the center of the city.
