Istanbul travelogue picture
Like all capitals we came across in our drive going back to Europe Istanbul is also one huge city. We were driving for an hour and an half and still not near the center. Istanbul has you much to offer: The Topkapi place, The Blue mosque, The Grand Bazaar and of course the Bospherus...

Favourite spots:
Istanbul travelogue picture
Blue mosque and the Grand Bazaar are definitly our favourite spots. The mosque is impressive and the Bazaar is where you can also meet the local people.

What's really great:
Istanbul is a cosmopolitan city with middle east influences. Very proud people and they never come on to strong.

Sights:
Topkapi, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Sultanemet.

Accommodations:
We stayed at the Londra campsite.
