Mustafapasa - Turkey, NevĀ¶ehir The Greek Orthodox church depicted dates from the 19thC with interior frescoes from 1895 and was the centerpiece of Greek life in Mustafapasa. It is now abandoned since 1923 but not forgotten -- in 2004 the Greek Orthodox patriarch conducted prayer services here. The exterior features grape cluster surrounding the door, a nod to local industry as well as a symbol for the blood of Christ.
