Hi!

I´m planning a 6 weeks backpacking trip to Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and maybe Costa Rica from Christmas till the beginning of february and still looking for someone who would like to join me for some days, weeks ore maybe the whole time. Will probably start off in Guatemala but not stay there very long as I´ve already seen most of it. Will definitely go to Utila or Roatan to get my diving certificate (PADI Open water). Rest of the trip is still open.

I speak spanish quite well and have already done various trips to Mexico, Belize, Guatemala and Chile.

I´ve anyone would like to meet or join me, please contact me.

Ojala hasta luego! Pepperoni

Do you have any info about the cost of diving

in Honduras?

Hola!

As I´ve heard, the diving certificate on Utila is the cheapest you can get all over the world. I costs about 100-120 US$.

I don´t have any though how much single diving boat trips cost although I could imagine that they must be quite cheap as well.

Saludos Miriam

I'm planning on traveling to Central and South America from January through April next year, perhaps our paths could cross? I expect to start in Guatamala for about 3 weeks of language school (my high school Spanish is rusty!), then move on from there in whatever way seems to make sense... I am looking forward to spending a week kayaking around the Bay Islands off Honduras, and have been thinking about diving certification as well.

Hi Pepperoni,

You say you have been to Mexico before. I was wondering if you could tell me of a backpacking strip or good street to head to when I arrive in Mexico City. I am heading there on 2 December 2003. Would much appreciate some info re. this.

Ta

Squem

Hi Squem,

sorry, but I´ve never stayed in MexCity for longer than a couple of hours. I normally avoid big cities when I´m travelling and as I´ve lived in Puebla (about an hour from Mexico City) I never needed any hostal. If you need more information about the south of Mexico I might be able to help you!

Hasta luego Pep
