Hi

This is very ambitious idea. But you need a lot of vacations! Just let you know that panamerican road does not exist in the Darien Gap - jungle terrains on the Panama-Colombia border. It is the only risky part of the panamericana. The rest is quite easy to do for experienced traveller...

Happy journey!

Hello Wojtek,

have you done the pan americana? I am sure that the whole thing is a bit to timeconsumpting. I have 2 months. August - September. Should be enough time to see lots, right?!

Hello

Yes, I did it except Darien Gap - in the stages, in few years.

2 months are not enough if you want see countries, feel people and places worth to see... But it is enough if you just want to collect miles between Alaska and Tierra del Fuego.

The choice is your!

I believe the book Road Trip by Tim Cahill is about travelling mainly Pan American hwy from Ushaiia to USA. You might want to check it out.
