Member opinion: After having participated in the Shiva Linga Festival in the cave of Amaranth, Kashmir, with thousands of Hindu pilgrims, I was enjoying Srinagar when I saw a kind of temple surrounded by a fence. I went inside and read a sign with Arabic characters and a title in English saying: ROZA BAL. YOUSA ASF. An improvised guide appeared from nowhere and explained me that Yousa Asf was for the Kashmir people the same than Isa was for the Arabs, that is, Jesus Christ. Inside there was a 3 metres long coffin, being, allegedly, 2000 years old, with an inscription on a marble plaque in Hebrew and a big footprint. It was protected by powerful iron bars. Indian Government does not allow investigating about that mysterious coffin. According to my “guide”, Yousa Asf was a great Prophet, native of Israel, who performed many miracles and preached a doctrine of love. He assured that he was telling me this story because I was his friend. When he finished his tale, he asked me baksheesh.
