The Clifton Hotel |

I'd read somewhere that this place served the best pint of Bass in Folkestone and having sampled it I wouldn't disagree, and the price was certainly good for a hotel bar. I would probably recommend the hotel as a place to stay although I did think that, like many similar places, the public areas were nice but the room disappointed a little. This may have been because I was travelling alone and booked a single room. It is in a handy location though, 10-15 minutes walk from the train station, close to the main shopping street (Sandgate Road) and right on the Leas overlooking the Leas Cliff Hall.
