Kuala Lumpur is a good place to use as a base to see the sites of Malaysia. the weather is warm and tropical with rain often coming in the afternoon. There are plenty of shopping centres tochoose from.

Favourite spots:
Genting Highlands,Menara Tower,day trip to Melaka,Batu Caves and Bird Park

What's really great:
I liked the trip to Melaka where I took a boat cruise up the Melaka River

Hard Rock Cafe

Restaurants:
local food markets Shakeys Pizza
