Member opinion: A great open-air museum, which gathers historic houses and factories from all the different areas of Scandinavia. People in period costumes play exhibits in every place. The museum includes a zoological park mainly dedicated to Scandinavian wild life. The best visiting period is summertine (July-August), when all the houses are open. Skansen houses a must-go Christmas market in December.
