Member opinion: This is a truly outstanding museum. Not only is the great ship, which sank on its maiden voyage in the 17th century, unique but the purpose built museum scores on all fronts.Numerous lifts allow the disadvantaged to get all the views available to others and there are numerous exhibition, including 17th century life on board and the history of the recovery of the Vasa.Although much is done to ensure preservation, there are stories of decay and the museum should therefore qualify for an early visit.
