GLOBO gets second speed bump

You will most likely see the gain in faster site building especially once it comes to pictures. Speed from the server side will specially help those running on older modems. I was a bit worried at first: speed "bumps" slow down traffic? You mean push, thrust, acceleration or speed increase I hope. Have a look for example on this: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1729310,00.asp Modem users might not have that much of a benefit by this particular one. Due to architecture restructuring the system can handle more requests, and is therefore faster in delivering the page. If you browse for example reports on a DSL or cable line you will see about 20 % faster site building.
