That made me realize, that it is not clear how the pictures there are organised. Basicly, they do rely on the rating system. The system picks the picture which is the best rated from the place. So it is very likly that the image will change over time. Best regards, Andy Reply    Reply with quote    Contact andreas   gloriajames Premium account Joined: Sep 04 Points: 16785 Posts: 72 Posted: 2005-03-25 14:25:00    hi andy mmm... i was bit confused when i wanted to type info on izmir. not sure if it should go with the pic or just a general description. will add some info later. btw...two questions i need to ask u, i. there are few places in turkey i would like to write about, ie on ankara, and cannakale, however i realised that they are not listed. so how do i go about writing info on them? ii. why is istanbul spelt as istanbul and istambul in the turkey dg?? with respect to dg on italy, there are repetitive places, ie milan and milano, florence and firenze, rome and roma .. etc... does one write two different dg info?? speak soon, gloria Reply    Reply with quote    Contact gloriajames   andreas Joined: May 02 Points: 8309 Posts: 808 Posted: 2005-03-25 14:54:00    Hello Gloria, if a destination is not listed yet, then there is no content on it so far (pictures, reports, members etc.). In this case you can enter the name into the search field on the top and it will execute a location search on all places known by GLOBO. In the case the destination is not listed you can add it to GLOBO on the same way as before (go to publish report and click on the ad place graphic on the right). Ankara is listed though: http://www.globosapiens.net/turkey-travel/Ankara/Ankara.html About the reptetive places. This is a pitty. As GLOBO was created a few years ago, the city names have been entered and unfortunatelly there was in some cases a local version of the name and an international one. Throughout the years members have uploaded content on both. So there is no way anymore to reverse that unless we do it by hand. And that would take several weeks I guess.
