gloriajames Premium account Joined: Sep 04 Points: 16785 Posts: 72 Posted: 2005-03-19 05:14:00    hi andy I have 2 Qs:- 1. how do u upload a destination guide when there is no destination of that place listed in your country selection. for eg, destination Italy, but no mention of Pisa, or Como? 2. how do you upload a destinatin pic of the place when there is no pic at the introduction text? pls see intro text i did on Bergama, Turkey. thanks for the help,! gj Reply    Reply with quote    Contact gloriajames   andreas Joined: May 02 Points: 8309 Posts: 808 Posted: 2005-03-19 16:02:00    Hi GJ, If there is no picture for that city inside the dg, then there simply nobody has uploaded one. Here is how the dg's work: The system searches GLOBO for content on a country and filters out the places with info available. So if there is a place not listed under show all places of country x, then there simply is no content (pix, guides, reports) available on that place. The only way to locate that place is over the search field on the top which does find any place available on GLOBO (about 3 mill world wide). The picture you see there is a small trick. The system checks GLOBO for pics on that place and then it shows the highest rated pic available. So if there is no picture there, upload one and as soon as it gets rated it will show up.
