There are a lot of things to do on Corfu, however, a large part of it is partying. This is a nice place to take a vacation from your vacation IF you want to party. It really depends on where you stay. The island is fairly small and there is definitely some culture you can soak up here. You just have to get away from the beaches to see it. The country side is beautiful with forests from coast to coast.

| Favourite spots: |
A ride through the country side on a scooter. This is the best way to spend the day. WEAR A HELMET! Many people refuse this but while I was there for 8 days, I heard of 2 head injury accidents on these scooters. There is a rental place at the Pink Palace and for about 20 USD you can rent the scooters all day. Go the far end of the island from the Palace and it seems like a different island altogether. It is very calm and peaceful and over looks the coast of Albania.

That everything is taken care of for you. If you stay at the Pink Palace, the food, entertainment, everything is very well organized.

You can do some fun paragliding off of the cliffs surrounding the beach. There is also a midevil castle although we never made it there.

|
The infamous Pink Palace. It is fun, if this is your sort of party. Dinner starts around 7pm, ouzo drinking at 9, plates broken over your head by 10, partying and dancing till dawn. Get up by 11 or you'll miss breakfast.

|
This is rated as the top ten spots in Europe to contract an STD, so stay away from the wildlife. :) Or just be careful. Seriously.
