Aswan Egypt

Small, a little bit on the tourist side, not a bad little place, people are very easy to get along with especially the cabbies. First greeting to me was cheers u from England? wanna buy some hash?

Favourite spots:
Aswan Museum, Aswan Dam, Spice souk outside the Hotel. Horse carriage along the Nile

What's really great:
I met a local guy who operated the spice souk, He came from a non-typical Muslim family where his father had 4 wives(he had 18 siblings) He took me first to get a photo with me for memory(which I found out later it was just so he could touch me!) and second he took me to a Hotel his father (a retired professional boxer) owned, and introduced me to his whole family I spent the night jazzin it up with the 4 wives and the kids.

Accommodations:
Can't remember the name of the Hotel but there is a huge fountain in the middle of a traffic circle right in front of it. The spice souks are right around the corner.

Hangouts:
Don't know the name of this either but it's across from the train station(DON'T USE THE TRAIN STATION TOILETS!) on the top of a roof. We smoked sheesha there and I met Khalid Hasson (I guess the equivilant to our Elvis Presley)all the girls freaked out when the guy walked in the room.
