I met Philip Masonda on the airport of Arusha while waiting for my plane to leave and had a very interesting discussion about Safaris.
After all he told me he must be a very seasoned safari guide who also does walking safaris. He left me his adress for another visit to Tanzania.

Really flexible company that can arrange your desired Safari. You choose the lengh, the order of the parks, etc... Reliable travel agency just under the Meru House Inn Hotel. Expect to pay beetwen 85 and 95$ per day in a Safari. I love the Serengeti and N'Gorongoro Crater!!! more

Big hotel with hostel kind rooms. Some with own bathroom (single 9.000Tsh Double 11.000Tsh) and some sharing for 6.000Tsh. Enough clean and hot water just sometimes!! Just over the Victoria Expeditions Travel Agency. Good place to rest after a long Safari. more
Flamingo Hotel
Centrally located, clean and new.
The rooms are great and have their own bathroom with a really surprising hot water!!!
Staff is helpful. Single room=12.000Tsh. A little bit expensive compared with others around. more
