What Morin Heights has to Offer

  11 votes
A mountainous backdrop and natural setting makes Morin Heights a wonderous place to visit. If you enjoy the outdoors, including skiing, nature walks and trips to the spa you will enjoy what Morin Heights has to offer.

Morin Heights was founded over 150 years ago and has since become a great tourist spot because of its historical value as well as its location in the Laurentian mountains. People enjoy the mountainous view, shops, and resturants but most of all people come here to ski. It offers incredible trails for biking, walking and skiing and even dogsledding. Morin Heights is also known for the Spa le Refuge, a Scandinavian spa known to many as a place to unwind and get pampered. Besides the relaxation room, attractive gardens and pastoral walking path down to the river, it's spa services are the ultimate experience.

I really enjoyed their outdoor spa in the evening under the stars (that includes a cold-water bath, a hot whirlpool, a wet and a dry sauna). Other spa services I enjoyed included massage, facial, manicure and pedicure. which left me feeling envigorated. I went to St-Sauveur which is close by and enjoyed some down hill skiing. They have a plethora of little shops and cafes to enjoy as well.
