Sorry to have contacted you in this manner, but...
I'm in love with a beautiful woman. I want to do something special for
her.
She was bron in Oxford, England and grew up in Tadmarton, England. I
want to
contact people from around the world and her hometown and ask them to
take a
picture of themselves holding a sign with my words on it. Preferrably
with a
nice background. This would mean the world to me. Thank you very much. I
will return the favor of course. I'm from California.
thanks a lot for your congrats!! YES, it had little bit of a magic moment, standing there in the late afternoon sun on Highway 1. That's something you're not doing every day... :-)
I think the missing bridge was called St. Paul's Railway Bridge; but either it wasn't strong enough to take the new train or there wasn't enough space at the old station so it was decommissioned and Blackfriars Bridge was built. Instead of completely destroying it when the new bridge was opened they left the columns as a monument I believe to the architect - Christopher Wren.
The unfortunate thing is that I can't confirm this as I couldn't find any references on the internet. So take it with a pinch of salt.

Terje,
It was no surprise to me that your report was selected! It is such a pleasure to read (as are all your reports) and comes from such a different perspective!
