What problems did you encounter when uploading? If it said something like 'word limit' you have used too many words and unfortunately you must cut down. I sometimes cheat and take out periods at the end of a sentence because that gives me more character space.

It is also a good thing to write first in a Word document. This is for two reasons. You will have a back up and you can use the character count in Word.

Hi Phil
I'm getting right mixed up with names. Kevin called Lance said that Toddy was called David and you seem to be Toddy and Phil.
Anyway I'm David [first name Kenneth] and I've lived in the town that I assume gave you your name [Toddy - not David or Phil!] since 1972.
Marianne's advice about starting with Word and copying in is very sound; I started to do it early on after a couple of real disasters where a whole lot just vanished.

First af all a warm welcome to Globo.

I read your guestbook entry in Kevin's guestbook. You seem to have difficulty in uploading your report. I'd love to read about your Panama trip. A first report upload may seem a daunting task, but it is not, really.

Okay, word limit is a bit of a nuissance, it is not actually word limit, but it is the number of characters including spaces.

One big word of warning, write your report first in Word, so that you have a back-up.
