Did anybody visit recently Irian Jaya? I am looking for the best solution to visit the villages in Baliem Valley... Let say - 5 days trek. Forget about expensive tours booked from Europe... But maybe thera are also budget institutions and offers? It seems to be difficult to walk around on your own due to the language problem and a lack of good maps, but maybe?...
