Akhila, when are you going? The fall colors, as the trees turn red, can be beautiful this time of year through mid-November. There are a number of rivers off Chesapeak Bay that make for a lovely drive if you rent a car (easy to do in Baltimore). Washington DC, with the Smithsonian Complex (9 museums-all amazing) is just 40 miles or so away and can be reached in less than an hour. There are a number of unusual Museums in Baltimore: B&O Railroad Museum, Baltimore Street Car Museum, Edgar Allen Poe's house, but one of my favorites is the American Visionary Art Museum. It is more of a mixture of multi-media art and philosophy then anything else.
If you want any info on Washington DC, let me know. There is a lot to see and a couple of tour type things you might want to consider (DC Ducks are great as are the Twilight Monument tours).
