I like to know more about this, if you've canoed somewhere in Canada let me know your experiences. You can check my travellog and pictures for some more info on it. I am also working on a report about Wells Gray, but haven't finished it yet. Canada's big, lots of lakes, rivers, isolated, populated. I know of one lake in NW Ontario where there are no motorized vehicles of any type allowed on it. And then you can "tour" all the other beautiful Gulf Islands.
