People here seem to be far more in the know than I, so I figured I'd ask the experts. I'm looking for a cheap flight from Istanbul to Amman or Cairo. Can anyone recommend cheap carriers or online ticket consolidators? Travelocity has the best so far, but I know there's better. T'would be greatly appreciated!

The cheapest is not always a direct flight but check the local carriers first. In this area ive found the gulf airlines best. Try Emerates (most comfortable and easy tranfer) or Qatar Airlines. I have also flown Air Egypt and Balkan Airlines there because of their good stopover deals. Depending where you are and buy your ticket, the web I have found is the best place to compare prices. Each country has its own online agents, Travelocity is great. If you are flying to these places from home(USA) rather try combine the destinations with your trans-atlantic carrier or one of its partners, connection(pickup)flights sometimes then free!

Thanks for the info Rangutan! I ended up finding a fairly decent price for a multiple destination flight through Turkish Airways. I'm soon on my way! Cheers!
