Foreign cash question

Like do i just go to a bank and ask to buy US cash? Thanks. Thomas Cook Currency Exchange Offices are located all around Australia as well; I know there is some offices in Sydney, and Brisbane and also in other cityes as well.Also you can exchange money at the airports and at American Express offices. I have sold many of them. Are you fixing to fly to the U.S.? Most suburban banks would have a few hundred dollars US on hand much of the time and it would only take a call to have the correct amount and in the correct denominations on hand within 24 hours ... and if you are in a hurry just go to another bank and they will probably have some on hand especially in suburbs with people doing business with asia.
