Has anyone been to China recently?
I am considering a trip to Shanghai.
I would appreciate any impressions of the place that people may have if they have been.

Well, China have a lote more to offer but is your choice.
Shanghai is a great city.
Don´t miss the Chinesse old quarter, the french and british concessions, the new area, the special economic area at Pudong (The pearl building.), Nanning road (Long walk), the wonderful Bund ...
The cheapest option is the Astor Hotel also known as Pujiang Hotel.
Dormitories at 55 yuen per night.
