We are planning a trip to Southeast Asia in October. We will fly to Hong Kong then make our way to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh, Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Langkawi, Kuala Lumpur and Denpasar (Bali).
Do you know any good places to stay? Anything out of the ordinary to do in these places as well?

HKG - Mirador mansions. (New garden hostel or Cosmo hostel)
Hanoi - Near the Purple Lake there are a lot of cheap accomodation (A to Z Guesthouse)
Ho Chi Minh City - Go directly to Nathan Road, lot of cheap accomodation for backpackers.
Phnom Penh - Take care there. and go near the river bund, sorry I can't remmember the name.
Bangkok - The great Khao San Road with lot of backpackers hostels. Marco Polo, Privacy Hostel, Nana hotel ... hundreds!!
