We're looking to travel to Florence by train later this year, but I can't make my mind up about a hotel. There are so many, but the really good ones are either booked up or too expensive, and people on the various hotel review sites seem to have niggles and hang-ups about the others.
Has anyone here any recommendations for somewhere reasonably central, and comfortable, for up to about €140 - €150 (about £100) for a double room per night?

Hi There
I stayed twice at the Hotel De Lanzi. This is the text of the viamichelin site:
The De Lanzi Hotel is located in the very heart of Florence's historic centre, right next to Piazza Duomo with its magnificent cathedral and baptistery and just minutes from Piazza Signoria, Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery. The finely-decorated property, featuring comfortable guestrooms, a cosy bar and reading lounge as well as a lovely outdoor courtyard, offers the romantic atmosphere of an ancient Florentine home. The Lanzi family and the multilingual hotel staff who run the property will be pleased to take special care of their guests, arranging visits and tours within Florence, to Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa or the Chianti area, as well as organising museum reservations.
Price range: 70€
Hope it helps
