Funny things being observant, also some deleted forum messages from me I see and weird responses! How can I change my password in the "new look" profile page? (URGENTLY!)

Hello Rudi,

I have already answered this via e-mail. As this topic might also be of interest for other members I am posting the answer here as well.

The "removed by moderator" text shows up if a topic has been removed by a moderator that was posted by you or one that you have replied to. I can confirm that this is true for all the cases inside your profile that you refer too. You did reply to some postings that I have opened and closed as well.

About changing the password. You are right since the redesign it is not possible anymore. My fault, I simply forgot to integrate it. Will be done a.s.a.p.
If you do feel the need to change your password for security reasons, one quick fix would be to simply request a new one before login (underneath the login box) The system will then send you a strong password to your E-Mail Adress.

There is nothing that indicates a hack of your account. This is virtually impossible, if you have choosen a strong password. I do not say it can't be done (banks and nations already claimed that and others proofed them wrong), but I am sure it would be so damm hard that it is not worth for anybody who has the knowledge wasting their time for it. If they can do it at GLOBO they could also do it anywhere else where they get a profit from - (gambling sites etc.). GLOBO login procedures are all 128 bit SSL encrypted. Follow the yellow lock on the bottom of the browser, it shows up where ever you enter sensible data on GLOBO. Same encryption like with online banking. To virtually steal your login password during you enter it would require for example a keyboard loger software that has been illegally installed on your system by a virus or similar. Other than that I can not see one single possibility to do this. I even believe the data on GLOBO is way saver here than on your home computer - as long as you keep your password for GLOBO and the corresponding e-mail account strong and individual!

I hope that detailed answer helps to ease your consernes.

Best regards,

andy
