do you want to upload pictures of a certain place and it is not listed inside our community? Nothing easier than that!
1. First be sure that you know exactly how the place is written
2. Try to locate it inside the upload form. We have almost 3 million names listed. The chance that yours is there is pretty high. Make sure that you loop through all the results (notice the numbers and forward arrows underneath the results)
3. If you place is not listed. Click on the blue button on the right "Add GLOBO land - suggest a new place".
4. Fill in the required details to the form
5. Once the request is processed you will be informed by e-mail and you can find your new place inside GLOBO.
Finally if you have suggested a place, it will be your GLOBO land - because you discovered it in a way. The place is then listed in your activities page on your member travel site.

I have been impressed with the speed and ease with which new places can be added - I had no idea they were recorded on the activities page; it's the first time I've ever looked there!
Sometimes, however, there is a reply that a place has been added coupled with rather a sharp reproof for 'wrong' spelling. That seems entirely appropriate when there has been carelessness - as when I put Barveau instead of Barvaux [actually the replies from you on that occasion were more courteous and friendly than I deserved.]
However when I put in Rum, an island off Scotland, I received the standard sharp rebuke. I assumed you must have wanted the older spelling 'Rhum.' It would never have occurred to me that it should have been 'Rum Island'. It might be friendlier to new members if the reply said [keeping with this example] ‘Thank you for your suggestion of Rum. We have entered it – but under the name of Rum Island. We should be grateful if you adopt this formula in future.’

Hi,
I want to add Margao as a city in the province or state of Goa in India but am unable to do so as your list of provinces in India, Goa is not listed. As a result am unable to send or add my suggestion! I have already reported this error in the Asia/Oceanic forum and the Error reporting forum. Am waiting eagerly for the amendemnts to be made so I can put up my reports and photos of the lovely city of Margao in the state (province) of Goa in India.

when I want to add a new place, I suggest also its type (for instance 'Island'), but when I see the list of all the places for a nation (for instance 'Greece') I can't see the type.
If I want to add a report, I don't know if the named place is a city or an island (for instance in the 'Rodos' Island there is the 'Rodos' city).
Also for the destination guide, the place is always a city or can be an island?
For 'Greece' I can see 'Rodos' and 'Lindos', but 'Lindos' is a city of 'Rodos' Island. The place 'Rodos' is the city of 'Rodos' or the 'Rodos' Island'?
Can I publish a report on the 'Rodos' Island under 'Rodos' place or have I to publish a report for 'Rodos' city under 'Rodos' place and one for 'Lindos' under 'Lindos' place?

hello fellow travellers and discoverers, i have tried upload pictures in little town called mount victoria or mt victoria in australia's blue mountains in new south wales , but it didn't seem to work , also i havent got any replay to my landmark suggestions, obviously bigger and more popular towns are katomba or blackheath nearby but in mt victoria great western highway divides to 2 major roads going in separate directions, ,,, it would help me in writing report about mt. Tomah botanic gardens where this other road leads to.. good luck in finding where i was already :) ps in finding places or locations the best is australian website 'whereis' just type in and that's it. and maybe someone can add TOWN or VILLAGE as a suggested locations, sometimes i wouldn't call 1000 people's settlement a City,it's just not right,,, thank You for great job done so far. martin :)
