Hi,
I have a friend that is doing a university project for journalism. The project involves putting together a travel magazine. One topic and possibly the cover story will be this "Polar Year 2007/8". Other than the websites www.ipy.org and www.international-polar-year.de does anyone have more information or thoughts about it or our poles generally? I hope Susanne joins GLOBO and introduces herself here.....

P.S: Incidently, when do we get "Antarctica" on the GLOBOmap and it as a Subject in "Travel the Globe" with the other continents?
