Hi to all,
I want to intern in Singapore this coming 2007 summer and I need to one find and internship and two find an affordable, but safe place to rent. Any advice???

Depending on how long your internship will be, I can advise you accordingly. Let's say it is about 1 year, then I think it would be best to rent a room with a Singapore family. It is really quite easy to arrange and you can do it when you get here. So that you can arrange a location near your work place.
You can expect to pay about S$250 for a simple unit to about S$400 for a master bed room unit that has attached toilets. It is generally very safe to make such arrangements in Singapore even for a girl.
