My wife and I are going to South Africa during Christmas to visit her family in Joburg. While we are there we would like to go on a safari and we have looked at a place called Djuma Vuyatela Lodge which is a part of the Sabi Sands Private Game reserve (http://sabi.krugerpark.co.za/Luxury_Safari_Lodges-travel/djuma-vuyatela-lodge.html). I would like to hear from people who has been there to see if it is worth the money :-)

I have been in the area about 20 times but never to a private gamefarm myself. There are about 50 of them inkluding Djuma Vuyatela Lodge. Most of these specialize for overseas visitors and I have ONLY heard good reports about them; service, security and adventure being their goal, worth it if you have the "bucks" (pun)! Warning from a friend who is visiting me at the moment, only travel in groups and daytime in RSA, keep away from city centers if possible and always have a local relation or friend or guide with you, dont wear jewelry. Dress only casual.
