Anybody recommend a specific hostel in Managua? I'm going there in January and there are quite a few options to choose from. Location is not important as long as it is mildly safe and secure. Any other recommendations for the Pacific Coast side of the country are appreciated!!

When I was in Nicaragua I stayed at Nicaragua Guest House in Managua. Its a really chill backpackers hostel, nice, friendly, convenient. I found it on www.minihostels.com, which usually has more cheap hostels in South America than Central but always recommends the best places, plus with a minihostels membership you can get a 10% discount at any of the hostels you stay at that are featured on their site.
