My boyfriend and I are going to land in Mexico City some time after Christmas and leave some time after New Year - we'll probably spend a total of 10 days. Any recommendations, such as day trips out of the city, or where we can spend a couple of days in? We are reasonably fit and enjoy walking, hiking, etc. We like anything off the beaten track. Boyfriend has never been to Mexico and I've only been to the Cancun area and Chetumal on the way to Belize some years ago. Thanks! Jeanette
