Hi Staff

I tried the new gallery and wanted to upload a picutre but I couldn't.

I tried on my other system and could. I tried with another browser and could...

Ok here's the problem:
When surfing on firefox on a Mac with a screen resolution of 1024x764 i don't see the button for browsing my system for the desired picture.

Another Issue

Would it be possible to have scroll bars in the pop up window with the 1024 size?

With my screen resolution I don't see the whole picture.

Thanks
Martin

Hi Staff

I just tried to upload a portrait format picutre in 1024 size and am a bit confused.

First i saved it with the following size:
1024h 768w and did not get the 1024 image here on globo
Then I saved it as:
1365h 1024w and did not get the 1024 image here on globo
lastly I tried original size:
2592h 1944w and got the right size...

It's a bit confusing

sometimes when I try the 1024 size i get a white bar in the pop up window above the picture. sometimes it's just the plain picture in the pop up window.
still I would like to see a scroll bar within the 1024 pop up.

Would it also be good to have the rating possibility within the 1024 pop up?

thanks in advance.
Martin

Issue when changing a picture comment to a lenght above 256

When I try to change a comment to more than 256 characters but less than 1000 the system tells me that I should limit it to 1000. it accepts the change for less than 256 characters.

Hello Martin, Joe,

Martin: Your first point with the browser has been fixed. I am a bit irritated as I believe that I did reply to that posting. Did you remove the reply or is it simply another posting? Anyway that one has been fixed the day before yesterday.

About the srolllbars. I will think about it. There seems to be a need for it. Reason why they are not in yet is that they have several downsides. I might be able to find another sollution for it.

About the 1024 size. Your first picture was not wide enough. The 1024 referes to the width. That is a technical issue. As the width is limited to 1024, but not the hight which could theoretically be endless. You get the button if you upload a pic with a width >= 1024. This is also why your second try should have succeeded as the pic is 1024 wide?! I checked it and it worked for me. Can you please retry with the pic 1024 wide? Should work just fine.

The rating buttons are disable due to size problems with Systems that have a lower resolution. There will also be a fix for it in the future.

Joe: Thank you for reporting. That error has been just fixed.

Best regards,

Andy

Andy

My first post is solved yes. You did reply in the development log.

I'll try again with the 1024 width resolution.

A new small error. When I click on the picture to have a pop up i get some white framing when I click on the pop up button but not the 1024 I get the same pop up window size without white parts.

Hi Martin,

did you close the 600px window beofore? I believe it was open and then you clicked the 1024 one which loaded the pic into the 600 frame.
Am I right?

Hello Martin,

thank you for reporting. This error was only occuring while running a premium account as those pictures you can display inside that section are bigger than with the free accounts. Picture size increased, problem fixed.

Best regards,

Andy
