I just uploaded pics from my trip and made an album. When I log onto my profile it's there, but when I look to where they are posted for others to see, there is nothing. How are people supposed to know where the pics are? This was last night Nov 12, I still haven't been able to see them posted. However, Davidx and others have theirs posted..
I'm hesitant to post other pics from other trips if this is happening.
any thoughts?

your album was visible last night and today, because I saw it, but it is probably now older than 24 hours so will have disappeared from the 24 hour overview on the home page.
Existing member will be able see it when they log on, but only if the last time they logged on was before you created the album.

I know the album is in my profile, but it was never posted into the 24 hour over view.. I saw once, for slide show, but none for pics.. it hasn't even been 24hrs yet, since I posted them on the 12th. they should have been on last night or even this morning.

Just had a look. I posted my comment at 17:11 yesterday and now it's 18:25, so they wouldn't show in the 24 hour overview anymore.
There are two options for the summary of recent material added:
1) The "24-hour review"
for unregistered viewers or members not logged in. To see this while logged in, click on the GLOBOsapiens logo or name at the top of any page.
2) "Content changes since your last login ..."
When logged in, instead of the 24-hour review, as many as 50 items for each section are shown, those that were added since your last login.
If you log in just a few hours after logging out, you will not find many changes as you would in the 24-hour review. That is perhaps why you could not see your entries in the summary.
Ways to find your pictures:
- choose "sort by date uploaded" in your own gallery
- type in "Churchill" in the search field or use the clickable map and lists
- use www.altavista.com or www.yahoo.com and do a reguar (not image) search using the three words 'globosapiens', 'polar' and 'bear'. A search for material within GLOBO does not work as well at Google.
Another solution: Andy reminds us often to use the refresh button or F5 when we feel the pages are not showing an up-to-date view. I find this happens often with Internet Explorer, less with the Firefox or Opera browsers.
A great wildlife adventure, thanks for the pics, a very good travel tip too.
