I stumbled onto this website by chance as I am seeking assistance re the planning of a forthcoming trip at the end of this year.
As yet, I am a novice in my understanding of how this works. I happened to find davidx's post about Portugal, and thought I had to join to read of his travel experiences there. By the way davidx, thanks for your welcome to me, I was quite chuffed to receive it.
Can you please explain to me the procedure I must use in order to show you my sketchy travel plans for comment and amendment.

I'm sorry I missed this. It might have got a quicker reply on General Travel Advice or on the continent forum.
If you know what country you want either go to the home page, click the map for the continent and then the country in the list - or type the name of the country - or city if you know it in the box at the right end of the yellow bar above. You can also search for reports or tips by clicking on the respective boxes in the bar.
If you find somebody who has been near where you want, don't hesitate to contact them direct by going to their site and using either their guestbook or [private] the contact button.
