I am not sure whether if this is the correct spelling...It is in Indonesia, i am sure. Promise a babe, that I will go with her.. but now i am getting cold feet, cos' they r so much unrest in Indonesia. I hope to get some reply soon. Thanks a lot, travellers out there. Bintang is the name of Indonesia's Best Selling Beer! It is also a small town in Sumatra. Bintan on the other hand is a small Indonesian island near to Singapore and accesible easily from the Passenger Boat Harbour in Singapore. Scenically, Bintan is quite boring. It did seem to cater for a Singaporean adult, male orientated clientele, who could amongst other things enjoy "gambling" and "karioke". I think Bintan is quite safe, like Bali it is free from unrest. It is a cheapo version of Bali South of Singapore, 40 minutes by boat. Maybe we need to protect the natives from u. Of course, Bali is more happening than Bintan, cos' it so so commercialized & established, destination spot. Have u been to Bintan? I went there once after posting in globosapiens.. not a bad place.
