Problem with personal picture gallery

I'd like to upload some more pics but don't want to upload duplicates. Do I only have 8 or is this an error? --- Live abroad and learn something about yourself! Most likely the counter on the right site does also count the removed one's. Let me please know if this is possible. It will help me to find a quick fix for it.
