Hi! I want to choose a safari trip and I have a proposal consisting in visits to: Tsavo, Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara. I also have another one, but much more expensive: Tsavo, Amboseli, Lake Manyara, Masai Mara, Serengeti in Tanzania, Ngorongoro. Can somebody advise me if "losing" Serengeti and Ngorongoro is a big lose.......?
having been to ngorongoro and seen the hunting hyenas (http://www.globosapiens.net/mortimer/slide-show-hunting-hyenas-not-for-the-faint-hearted...----723.html)
there and the rhino and and and .... I really would consider going to ngorongoro.
It might be depending on what time of year you are going because of the migration of the animals.
hope it helps
martin

So which of the two did you choose? Did you go to Ngorongoro or Kenya. The migration in Kenya Maasai mara is in july, august.
If you wish to travel to kenya you can contact me for a quotation, am a travel consultant.

I beleive eastern africa presents some of the most spectaculat travel experiences in the whole of africa, and with some sort of integration politically, the three nations of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania should give you an awe inspiring variety of plant and birdlife not found anywhere else.
Its easy to get routed into the all too common trails of saaris, amboseli, maasai mara, tsavo, a bit of the coast...e.t.c e.t.c e.t.c I wouldnt recommend that, for one, these places are becoming more populated by humanity than even the wildlife itself.
what i would recommend, the jewels that arent explored much. for instance, theres samburu national park, then theres shimba hills reserve, then theres a couple of small but well populated parks to the north eastern of Tanzania.....e.t.c .e.t.c
depening on the duration, and budget, you can have an east africa wide trip with the benefit of savouring the wildlife and cultural diversity that this region presents.
--- if its out there, is certainly waiting to be explored by us.

Hi,
I think Ngorongoro is one of the most incredible place to visit .Indeed to visit its crater and active volcano are some of the places to see.

Hi
I would recommend Kenya, in East Africa
The national parks rich with wild animals, (the big five). the vast Savannah grassland, the culture of the pple mostly the Maasai, the migration of the wilderbeast in JULY TO AUGUST...... the mountain and the lakes........... all this is awesome and the best way to learn about a place is to visit and explore..... reading or hearing is never enough.
