Hi! I know that you wrote your post a few months ago, but...

I'm an American girl who is studying Japanese in college. My Japanese isn't very good yet, but I would like to improve it. I dream of going to Japan one day, and becoming a translator of Japanese. I would love to learn more about Japanese culture, and I would be happy to tell you about American culture! :)

Bonjour! Je m'appelle Ciara. J'ai 27 ans, et il y a 10 ans depuis j'ai pris une class de francais, mais je voudrais ercriver a quelqu'un qui peut m'aider avec mon francais.

I apologize for all of the gramaical and spelling errors I probably made in the above sentences, but I wanted to attempt to type something in French.

I am from the United States. My degree is in engineering from The Ohio State University. I work for Eaton Corporation. I am from the Ohio, but I currently live in South Carolina. My father works for Honda and visits Japan often, however, I have never had the opportunity to go there. I visited Paris with my husband in September 2006. In December, I will be travelling to the Philippines to visit my husband's family who live there.

I would love to have a pen pal I could correspond with (either via e-mail or regular mail) and learn (and re-learn) how to speak and write in French, as well as learn more about the French and Japanese cultures.

I found this website on a google search. I would love to hear from you if you are interested in corresponding with me.

~Ciara
