How is your travel plans for the rest of the year and perhaps early next year?
As for me.. I was originally supposed to do a trip in July or August to Ireland...but in view of change of plans and difficulty in organising the trip, I missed my chance.
Well, no regrets as I am off to Burma in late October and Beijing, Xi'an in December.

Hi Gloria, you will enjoy Burma very much. It is still a very unspoiled country. I especially loved Inle Lake and the “cruise” along the River Irrawaddy from Pagan to Mandalay. I hope you do too.
I am leaving this coming week to Russia! There is a train from Moscow to Vorkuta, in the Republic of Komi, and further to the Ocean Glacial Arctic that since long time ago I dream to take it. It is the third longest train journey within Russia after the Transiberian and the BAM (Baikal Amur Magistral).
Good travels to everybody.

good health and high spirits!
Well this year I've been to Tunisia, Mazatlan and area in Mexico (Feb-Mar) and a quick jont down to the States to Minniapolis MN and Denver CO to check out the Body Worlds Exibition (a must for anyone interested in the human body) www.bodyworlds.com.(June)
I am preparing for my next trip in Feb. and it will probably be Cuba and either Jamaica or Puerto Rico. I would love to go anywhere right now because winter is here but I'm recovering from Knee Surgury.. I just hope it's o.k. by Feb. 8 months is too long a wait to not go anywhere!!

I don't get to travel again (for pleasure anyway - business is a couple times a month) until June 2007. It is my oldest son's turn to pick and he is thinking about Bhutan or Kenya. I will be hitting several of you up for tips soon.
