Sicily!

I know that is proabably a stupid question but does anybody here collected has a favorite spot on those islands? How usefull are public transportations there? Any good campsite? Thank you! A favourite - wow! what a choice! I've not seen enough of the Aeolians to judge but on Sicily I suppose it would be between the basilica at Monreale and the so-called Greek [largely Roman] theatre at Taormina. I would highly recommend the island of Stromboli. It is a volcanic island, very quaint, almost looks like you are on Greece, and it is very very beautiful. Black volcanic sandy beach makes it a unique place. Buon viaggio!
