I just did a few slide shows in the last days. The one about Botswana has got some 42 Pictures, it was a hard job to sort them all....
It would be great when there would be the possibility not only to move the picture one up but also these possibilities: To the top - to the end - one down
It would make it a lot easier with such an amount of pictures.
It would also be nice when the comment of the picture would be shown with the picture in the slide show like that there could be some text to take you along the show.

hii mort,
i want to share one thing with you ,that is when i view slide show the slides are taking a lot of time compare to the normal pictures which i see.
any way this is a nice idea to have slide coz at least we get many pic of same place in one point.

I enjoy the slide shows so much, particularly those including multi-shots of a certain place, saves time clicking on individual pictures.
Is there any possibility of having 3 options for a slide show?
1) full screen (most impressive)
2) picture with title (as it is currently)
3) picture with title AND comment (most interesting)
What do you think about a rating possibility on the slide shows?
There are a lot of pictures that don't get high ratings in the picture section but are important to the slide show, this would be some kind of reward for uploading them too...

Some problems seam to remain unsloved, eventhough Andy is working very hard and improving our GLOBOsapiens daily!
I was to lazy to crawl through all the suggestion threads and just posted my question right away... (There's still the forum search function that I would like!)
A problem with these old threads is that Andy was so busy with updating/upgrading everything here. Now it's hard to follow these threads because there is talk about functions that no longer exist and improvements that are implemeted a long time ago. I'm nowhere that senior as you because I only joined this year, but I like this site so much that I spend a lot of time here and come by some problems that could be solved.
Anyway what about Andy making you the moderator of this Forum and giving you the possibilities to browse through all posts, edit the parts in posts that are solved, delete whole threads that are not longer important... I think it should really be a pioneer member to do that. Andy seams to be too busy to keep up with everything.

Wouldn't it be ok to give some GLOBOpoints for creating Slide Shows. Perhaps something like for every ten pictures in a slide 5 Points. (10 Pics 5 points, 20 pics 10 points, etc)

is a very good one. Because this way we can make a photo report. I tried to do so with my melaka slide show, but none of the captions show and therefore some of the pictures seem not to be relevant.
Another reason why this is a good idea is that if comments are displayed those who post pictures must think carefully what to write and this makes the quality of both the picture and the slide show better.

Some time ago we raised the question wheter it could be possible to include the comment of the pictures into the slide show... there never was an official answer... we all know that you all are very busy ever improving our Globosapiens you do a very good job. I just though I could point out this problem once more. It would really improve the slides a lot!
Like my Hyena Hunt Slide show...
well in case somebody has got some spare time and needs an input what to do ;-)
