As a astronomy lover, i will be visiting Antalya in Turkey in the last week of March to observe the total solar eclipse. along with me will be a team of students, and fellow astronomy enthusiasts from India. so i was looking for some friends residing in istanbul and antalya from whom i could get some travel tips. thanks..! regards, kanu --- The word impossible itself says Im Possible..! Dana Reply    Reply with quote    Contact   kanuman Joined: Jul 04 Points: 301 Posts: 9 Posted: 2006-01-19 04:43:00    Hi, the total solar eclipse would be seen on the 29th of march 2006. the best places to see it from are libya, egypt, turkey as the totality(the time for which the moon is exactly in front of the sun) is maximum from these countries, ranging from 3 minutes to 4 minutes..! our team would be first landing in istanbul and then flying to antalya, so any contacts in istanbul or antalya would be useful. thanks kanu --- The word impossible itself says Im Possible..!
