My husband and I are travelling to Spain in November- what should we do in Barcelona, Alicante, Malage and Tenerife? We prefer not to spend alot of time on a tour bus or in museums- we are also uncertain as to what the weather will be like. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
We (with little kids) went to Malaga and other Costa Del Sol area in Chrismas time in 2002 but the weather was good enough for the kids put their feet into the ocean and had fun on the beach. Ronda near Marabella is highly recommanded so why not get yourself a rent a car, not so expensive. Ryo
Plenty of museums, art galleries and theatres...and of course shops. If you love to shop for art try all the fantastic shops on the streets around the Picasso museum.
The main Las Ramblas that everyone raves about was tacky and cheap and the restaurant we ate in was third rate. By night it is just a red light area. But do wander down all the side streets which lead you to designer shops, squares, cafes and markets.
The Olympic stadium is worth a visit and do visit the marina area and walk along the marina front - it is beautiful.
