Really glad I found this palce... but I'm having some trouble. there's a conference I'm going to in November in Florianopolis, and the plane tickets are double the amount of the conference :-o! it's crazy, and I've even been invited to speak at the conference, but I'm just a college student (17 yo), living in Florida, and so i don't exactly ahve a lto of cash.
Does anyone know of any travel grants from organizations? Or palces where students can get cheap tickets? I feel this is an opportunity of a lifetime, and i really want to go to this.
If anyone has ANY tips on cheap flights or even on where to find cheap places to stay in florianopolis, please let me know!

Cheep accomadation all over Brazil is in Pusadas you will find plenty when you get ther mate dont worry about a thing. If its a journey of a lifetime and your only flying from Florida Im sure you will find a way of doing it, and it cant be that costly from Florida , try flying courier with major airlines.
