I would like to know how long should I stay in Bangkok before going down to the beach towns. And where should A single guy go for fun. Is Phuket too commercial, and expensive to stay and meet girls? Ko Samui? Phattaya?

Careful, there is high incience of aids especially Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. In the commericla scene, your odds are no better than a game of Russian roulette.
