Hello Ciprian,

To get to Royston by train you will need to leave from Kings Cross Station. To reach Kings Cross from Heathrow you can take the underground (the Piccadilly line) all the way but this will take about an hour. Alternatively you can take the Heathrow Express train to Paddington and change for the underground (Circle Line) to Kings Cross. Once at KX you then have to walk to the mainline station and catch a train to Royston which will take about 40 minutes.

Neither journey is easy especially if you have luggage so I have found a different route that you might find easier. At Heathrow Airport go to the Central Bus Station (it is well signposted) and catch a number 787 National Express Coach. This will take you directly to Royston in just over two hours for around £20. During the week direct coaches leave 08:10, 10:10, 12:10 etc. up to 22:10. At Royston you can then catch local bus number 26 to Melbourn, this will take around 30 minutes but may not run late at night.

It is recommended that you book the National Express coach in advance and you can do this on the following website http://www.nationalexpress.com

I found this information at the following website http://www.traveline.org.uk although it is not very easy to use.

Please leave another message if you have any other questions.

Enjoy your time in the UK.

Kind Regards
Clive
